The Buda Show and Shine, is a continuation of a group of car guys that have been getting together on Friday and Saturday nights since the 1980s. The Buda area is the latest hot spot for all to continue the car culture tradition that attracts many different car clubs and individuals from the central area remembering what the the H.L.T.A. started for the car community beginning in 1956. -the highland lakes area of Austin, Texas.

We promote safety first and encourage anyone to stay off public roads and highways and conduct acceleration of speed contests only at a race track.

The home track for organized drag racing events in the central area is  Little River Dragway.
